How you get paid
There's nothing complex about the AdSense basics:
You run a website

You sign up for Google's AdSense program

You post AdSense ads on your site

You get traffic

This traffic clicks on the ads

Google charges the advertiser

You get checks from Google

Pay the checks in (I'll tell you what to do if you don't have a US Dollar account)
Maximising AdSense Income
However, maximising your AdSense income is what The Definitive Guide to Google AdSense is all about. The amount you earn per click on an ad varies enormously from a couple of cents (oh dear!) up to many dollars (Whoopee!) but you can control how valuable these clicks are if you know the secrets (Chapter 22, Chapter 30)
